Country megastar Keith Urban has shown his unwavering support for the fight against prostate cancer. Last night, waiting photographers spotted Urban at Sydney Airport, confirming the possibility of his appearance at the annual “It’s A Bloke Thing” luncheon held in Toowoomba.

This perennially well-attended event, hosted in Toowoomba every year, serves as a platform to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research. Urban, who has a personal connection to the cause, took to the stage at the luncheon after landing at Wellcamp Airport earlier today.

Urban’s dedication to this cause stems from his personal tragedy. In December 2015, he lost his father, Robert, to prostate cancer. Combining his passion for music with the fight against this devastating illness, Urban made time amidst his busy Graffiti-U World Tour in the United States to return to Australia and join the fundraising efforts.

Despite his demanding tour schedule, Urban willingly participated in the event, which has raised millions of dollars for prostate cancer research and awareness in just seven years. Even as he performs across the United States, Urban continues to demonstrate his commitment to the cause.

The luncheon is a significant event, having raised a remarkable $2,024,000.00 during this year’s fundraiser. It is one of Australia’s most successful daytime fundraising initiatives, with an extraordinary $1.53 million raised in 2017, thanks to the generous contributions of the community.

Keith Urban deserves immense credit for donating his time and talent to this vital cause. His unwavering support and dedication to prostate cancer research and awareness serve as an inspiration to us all.
