If you’ve been tuning in to Good Morning America recently, you may have noticed the absence of a familiar face. Michael Strahan, the beloved co-anchor, has been missing from the show since October 26th. And unfortunately, he will remain off the air for the rest of this week.

During Strahan’s absence, his ABC News colleagues, Juju Chang and Linsey Davis, have been filling in for him. However, this time, it’s not just GMA that he’s been away from. Strahan has also been absent from his analyst position on Fox NFL Sunday. On Sunday, his colleague, Curt Menefee, mentioned that Strahan was “dealing with a personal family matter.”

Although Strahan has not publicly addressed his absence and has been inactive on his Instagram since October 25th, an ABC spokesperson confirmed the reason for his leave. In a statement to People, they said, “Michael Strahan will not be with us this week as he is dealing with some personal family matters. We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and concerns.”

We understand that this must be a challenging time for Michael and his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with him during this difficult period. We want Michael to know that we support him and will eagerly await his return to the TV screen.
