Jane Fonda, the legendary actress at 85, has been a significant figure in the celebrity scene for decades. As she enters the twilight of her career, Fonda’s age and health concerns have led fans to worry about her. However, Fonda herself recently opened up about her perspective on death, stating that she is “not scared.”

Having spent most of her life in the spotlight, Fonda hopes to utilize her remaining time on Earth to emphasize the importance of celebrities using their voices to advocate for vital causes. In a recent interview, the star of “Grace and Frankie” shared that while she is “not afraid of death,” she recognizes that her time is limited.

Last September, Fonda announced that she had been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. In an honest conversation with Entertainment Tonight, she acknowledged, “I’m not going to be around for much longer.” Fonda explained that as she reaches her age, it is crucial to be mindful of the time left behind compared to the time ahead.

Despite her cancer diagnosis, Fonda revealed that she was responding well to chemotherapy treatment. In a post on her website, she expressed her gratitude for her cancer being in remission and being able to discontinue chemotherapy. Her sense of blessing, however, is accompanied by a profound lack of fear towards death.

Fonda sees death as an adventure and bravely states that she is “not scared of dying.” During an appearance on “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace,” the Academy Award-winning actress shared her perspective. She expressed the importance of avoiding regrets by living life to the fullest and making amends while there is still time.

Though Fonda admits to having very few regrets in life, she wishes she could have been a different kind of mother to her children when they were younger. Despite this sentiment, she cherishes her talented and smart children.
