A heart-wrenching incident has left an Ohio photographer in shock after a family she recently photographed tragically lost their lives in a car crash less than 12 hours later.

Rhae Harris, 45, the owner of Rhae Rose Photography in Delta, Ohio, shared her devastation on Facebook. She expressed her deep sympathy for the family and acknowledged the unimaginable pain their loved ones must be experiencing.

The session had been eagerly anticipated, with Muriel Michael, 28, reaching out to Rhae for quite some time. Finally, on Saturday, March 26, their paths crossed for the first time.

Rhae was captivated by Muriel, her fiancé Xavier Brown, 25, and their children, Aurora Michael, 7, and Deklin Jankowski, 9. Their one-year-old son, Riggs Brown, was especially sweet and cheerful throughout the photoshoot, bringing immense joy to everyone present.

The family’s love and bond were evident in the photographs, leaving Rhae excited about future opportunities to work with them. Muriel had plans to hire Rhae for their engagement and wedding photos.

Tragically, fate had a different plan. Shortly after their session, the family’s lives were irrevocably altered by a fatal car crash. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that Zane Hull, 21, failed to yield at an intersection and collided with Muriel’s vehicle, which was carrying the whole family.

Xavier and Deklin perished instantly, while Aurora and Riggs were airlifted to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center. However, their injuries proved too severe, and they did not survive. Muriel was also flown to the hospital but sadly passed away on Monday night.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered only minor injuries. In response to this heartbreaking loss, a GoFundMe campaign has been initiated to assist with the burial expenses. It is heartening to see that within just one day, more than $40,000 has been raised to support the grieving family.

This devastating incident serves as a poignant reminder of the fragility and preciousness of life. It prompts us to never take anything for granted and to cherish every moment we have with our loved ones. Let us come together, share this story as a testament to life’s fleeting nature, and offer our prayers for the family’s comfort and healing in this difficult time.
