His talent and passion fueled his rise to becoming a formidable force in the industry, ultimately leading him to take on roles at WNBC and CBS 2. For approximately 16 years, Guzman captivated audiences with his insights and reporting as a senior correspondent for CBS.

Described as a journalist of unparalleled expertise, Guzman covered a wide range of topics, including crime, local politics, the courts, and his beloved New York Yankees. His dedication to his craft was evident in the captivating stories he delivered, making him a beloved figure in the city. As a founding member of the Young Lords, a Puerto Rican revolutionary party, Guzman also displayed his early dedication to social and political change.
