Ozzy Osbourne, 74, gives health update after "final" surgery – "I can't do it anymore"

An Update From Ozzy Osbourne

Legendary rock star, Ozzy Osbourne, recently underwent his final surgery to mend his broken neck. At the age of 74, he has been through his fair share of challenges, describing the past few years as “absolute hell.”

Nearly two decades ago, Osbourne suffered serious neck damage from a quad bike accident. In 2019, he took a fall, aggravating the injury and finding himself in a very bad place. But in a recent interview, Osbourne provided his fans with an update, sharing his experience and expressing his gratitude for his family’s support.

During an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, when asked about how he’s feeling, Osbourne replied, “I finally had my last procedure two days ago. I can’t believe I’ve come to the end of it. The main thing is over now, I’m done with the surgery.”

An Unexpected Journey

For Osbourne, the past five years have been a challenging journey for both him and his family. Despite also facing Parkinson’s disease, he emphasizes that his struggles were primarily caused by the neck injury and subsequent fall in 2019.

“I carried on working with it until I had a fall, and then everything came undone,” he shared. Despite it all, he remains resilient, stating, “I don’t gripe, I get on with it. If you are still moving, you ain’t going to be dead.”

A Final Surgery

This week, Osbourne revealed that his recent surgery on his neck would be his last. Speaking on “The Osbournes” podcast, he explained, “It is gonna be the final surgery because I can’t do it anymore. Regardless of the way it ends up after tomorrow, I’m not doing it anymore. I can’t.”

A Pause on Touring

Earlier this year, Osbourne made headlines when he canceled his live comeback tour. His ongoing health issues have led to multiple tour cancellations since 2019. Despite these setbacks, Osbourne’s fans continue to support him and pray for his health and happiness moving forward.
