Lynda Carter, the iconic actress who played Wonder Woman, has made it clear that she is proudly embracing the aging process. At 72 years old, she confidently declares that she has not had any cosmetic procedures done. Carter recently attended the God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in New York, where she expressed her concerns about looking unrecognizable to Closer Weekly.

“I am content with who I am and do not feel the need for any surgical alterations,” says Carter. Instead, she focuses on maintaining her long-term fitness by using a Peloton exercise bike every day. Carter firmly believes that beauty goes beyond the limitations often associated with getting older. She believes that true beauty comes from within.

“We, as women, possess intricate qualities and an inner strength that defines us,” shares the actress. “The Wonder Woman inside of us connects with others. Our ability to give birth and nurture life is a testament to the power we hold. We are essentially the mothers of humanity!”

During her time playing Wonder Woman from 1975 to 1979, Carter gained a deep understanding of women’s capabilities. “Wonder Woman empowered women to embrace their true selves,” she states proudly. “She represents the inherent power that every woman possesses, and I have received countless messages from people sharing how inspired they were by her.”
