Frank Caprio, the beloved judge and star of the hit show Caught in Providence, recently shared a heartfelt video on social media, announcing his cancer diagnosis. At the age of 87, Caprio disclosed that he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, a challenging and insidious form of the disease.

In the emotional video, Caprio began by mentioning his birthday, but then revealed the difficult news about his health. He explained that he had been feeling unwell and received a medical examination, which unfortunately delivered a discouraging report.

Currently, Caprio is undergoing treatment in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and he requested the support and prayers of his devoted followers and fans. He emphasized the importance of both medical treatment and the power of prayer in his battle against cancer.

Caprio, who retired in January 2023, was elected as Providence Municipal Court Judge in 1985. His cases were aired on local television and public access in the Providence, Rhode Island area, which led to clips from his show going viral on YouTube.
