Fans of musician Luke Bryan are sending their best wishes as he experiences complete silence following a passionate display of support for his favorite team, the Georgia Bulldogs. During their matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide on January 10, Luke went a little too far and lost his voice in the process.

To be fair, it had been over 40 years since Georgia’s last championship victory, so emotions were running high. Following doctor’s orders, Luke Bryan is now on vocal rest until further notice. But he’s making the most of it, especially before his performances at Crash My Playa in Mexico.

In true Luke Bryan fashion, he and his wife Caroline poked fun at his predicament on social media. Caroline shared a humorous snapshot of herself practically taping Luke’s lips shut, jokingly saying, “I can’t say I’m very upset about it because he’s on vocal rest after his EXCESSIVE yelling at the National Championship game. I’m going to babble endlessly and drive him absolutely crazy.”

Even Chase Chrisley from the reality series Chrisley Knows Best joined in the fun, suggesting that Caroline should send the tape to his mom, as he can certainly relate to it.

Luke also took the opportunity to engage with his fans. He uploaded a video to Instagram and added the message, “I may have lost my voice, but these memories will always be with me. Only on @facebookwatch right now.” He also urged his followers to “pray for my voice” before ending the video with a smile.

Despite being unable to speak, Luke Bryan is still hard at work promoting his brand-new “Up” music video. In the video, he appears happy and asks his fans to “pray for his voice” while he is on vocal rest. Fans have been sending kind notes and expressing their eagerness to party with him at Crash My Playa.

Luke Bryan’s unwavering dedication to his music and his fans is truly admirable. We hope his voice improves quickly so that we can enjoy his amazing performances once again.
