Cameron Diaz recently set the record straight on the rumors that she was planning to quit acting after working with Jamie Foxx. The actress, known for her roles in movies like “Charlie’s Angels,” took a break from the industry between 2018 and 2022 to make her life more manageable.
During her hiatus, Diaz realized that the constant traveling required for film shoots was becoming tiresome. However, she made a comeback last year with the upcoming action comedy film “Back in Action.” Unfortunately, as soon as she returned, rumors started circulating that her experience working with Foxx had been negative.
Speculations suggested that Foxx’s behavior on set was the reason Diaz wanted to quit acting again. This, combined with Foxx’s mystery illness and hospital stay, created confusion among fans.
But Diaz finally spoke up to address the rumors and expressed her disbelief that people would think Foxx had made her experience miserable. In an interview with the Lipstick on the Rim podcast, Diaz stated, “I really hated all of the things that were being said about our set at the time. You just want to scream, ‘What are you talking about?’”
Diaz continued to praise Foxx, calling him the cheerleader for the entire crew. She emphasized that they have a great time on set and described him as a professional and a special person.
Foxx himself recently provided an update on his health. In his first public appearance since his hospitalization on December 4, Foxx expressed gratitude to everyone for their support. He mentioned going through some difficult times and how he couldn’t even walk six months ago.
