In 1987, Brad Pitt shared an apartment in a less-than-desirable area of LA with two other guys who were also yet to find fame and fortune. One of those roommates, Jason Priestly, known for his role in “90210”, recently shed light on those early days during an appearance on LIVE with Kelly and Mark.
Priestly described Pitt as a good housemate, but revealed a rather “disgusting” detail about their time together. They once had a competition to see “who could go the longest without showering.” Looking back, Priestly admits it was quite gross and wonders what they were thinking. Surprisingly, Pitt always won these competitions, leaving Priestly in awe.
While it may be hard to imagine Brad Pitt as anything other than a global superstar, he, like many other celebrities, had humble beginnings. Not everyone is born into a life of fame and fortune. Some had to fight tooth and nail to reach where they are today. And for Pitt, that journey started in a small LA apartment.
Both Brad Pitt and Jason Priestly went on to achieve success in the entertainment industry. Priestly became a household name in “90210”, while Pitt made his mark in Ridley Scott’s 1991 classic, “Thelma & Louise”. They both overcame their humble beginnings and found their path to stardom.
