Less than a year after ending their podcasting partnership with Spotify, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has found a new podcasting home. Lemonada Media recently announced that they will be teaming up with Meghan for a yet-to-be-announced podcast. Lemonada will also start streaming Meghan’s previous podcast, “Archetypes,” which premiered on Spotify in 2022.

While no specific details about the new podcast have been revealed, Lemonada confirmed that Meghan will serve as the host. The partnership will also involve Lemonada handling ad sales and distribution for “Archetypes,” starting this spring. In this podcast, Meghan engaged in conversations with notable women such as Mariah Carey, Mindy Kaling, and Issa Rae.

The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. When asked for comment, a representative from Archewell Productions, the company founded by Meghan and Prince Harry, declined to share any information about the agreement.

In a statement, Meghan expressed her excitement about joining the Lemonada team and supporting a female-founded company that produces thought-provoking and entertaining podcasts. She mentioned plans to re-release “Archetypes” to reach a wider audience and teased the launch of a dynamic new podcast. Meghan is thrilled to be part of the Lemonada family.

Lemonada CEO and co-founder, Jessica Cordova Kramer, commended Meghan’s talents as a host, creator, and conversationalist. She emphasized the company’s enthusiasm for co-creating a new series with Meghan that aligns with her artistic vision. Stephanie Wittels Wachs, Lemonada’s chief creative officer and co-founder, also praised Meghan’s collaborative spirit, clear vision, and commitment to fostering compassion and community through her work.

Lemonada Media is known for hosting popular podcasts such as “Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus” and “Choice Words with Samantha Bee,” among others.

After stepping down as senior royals and relocating to the United States in 2020, Harry and Meghan secured multiple media deals, including partnerships with Spotify and Netflix. Their docuseries, “Harry & Meghan,” which explored their courtship, relationship with the media, and decision to leave royal life, is available for streaming on Netflix. However, their partnership with Spotify concluded in June 2023.

As Meghan embarks on this new podcasting journey with Lemonada Media, fans eagerly anticipate the launch of her new podcast and the re-release of “Archetypes” to reach a wider audience.
