Sylvester Stallone is selling his La Quinta, California, home for $3.35 million, which is about $1.15 million less than what he bought for it a decade ago.

According to the listing with Josh Reef of Douglas Elliman, who listed the home Wednesday, the Mediterranean- and Tuscan-style villa has 4,889 square feet of interior space, including four bedrooms and five baths.

According to the ad, the two-story home also has a big living room with double-height ceilings and a stone fireplace, a dining room that opens to a terrace, a kitchen with wood cabinets, a wood-and-stone center island, a breakfast room, and a wine room.

Mr. Stallone, 73, an actor, screenwriter, director, and painter, purchased the home through a trust in 2010 for $4.5 million, according to property records.

He first advertised it in 2014 for $4.2 million. Since then, the house has been on and off the market at various prices, with brokers changing. According to listing records, it was taken off the market in 2016, when it was last advertised for $3.625 million.

Mr. Reef, the listing agent, stated that Mr. Stallone and his family used the home for desert holidays and that it is in good condition.

Mr. Stallone’s representative acknowledged that he is the vendor but had no further comment. Mr. Stallone is well known for developing and starring in the “Rocky” film series.

Wood double doors, arched entryways, vaulted and beamed ceilings, and fireplaces are among the design elements.

The 0.45-acre property includes many terraces, a pool and jacuzzi, and a built-in fireplace.

“It has the largest lot of any property in La Quinta,” Mr. Reef explained. “It also has a burbling creek running through the backyard, which is really unique.”
