Hunter and Hope Madden have wanted children since their first marriage.

Hunter and Hope were disappointed to discover that getting pregnant proved to be more difficult than they had planned.

Hope’s low levels of hCG and progesterone made it difficult for her to conceive and even more difficult to sustain a healthy pregnancy when they consulted fertility doctors.

After months of fertility treatments and waiting, the couple had two early miscarriages before becoming pregnant with their son, Owen. The couple was heartbroken to learn that Owen’s heart had stopped beating during their first scan with him.

The pair did not give up and continued to try. Following that, Evelyn Madden, their rainbow child, was born.

Hunter and Hope were worried about Evelyn’s health the entire time they waited for her. “We were well-equipped to confront the worst,” Hope said. This sensation, I suppose, continued throughout the pregnancy.”

We waited patiently for the day when the nation would yield.

Despite their deepest fears, Hope was able to carry Evelyn to term.

During the 40-hour natural birth, the couple’s sadness over Owen’s death was stronger than ever. The emotional and painful birth, on the other hand, brought healing.

They approached, ready to accomplish their modest miracle.

Hunter and Hope’s dream of becoming parents was realized with the birth of Evelyn.

After losses, infertility treatments, a grueling 40-hour labor, and induction, this couple finally received the perfect gift.

Birth in Austin, Texas: Photographer Leilani Rogers captured breathtaking images of a moving birth. Many strangers were captivated by her online images, particularly those in which Hunter sees his darling daughter for the first time.

They serve as a strong reminder that childbirth is about bringing new life into the world and beginning a new family. Hunter and Hope’s lives will never be the same again.

“This is the story of a father and mother who were overtaken with sadness but were determined to give birth to their daughter,” photographer Leilani Rogers wrote of the shot.

Her daughter now flies her lovely head against the chest tattoo after her first miscarriage. Both are signals of victory.

She will never forget their story, which impacted many people.

“It was a pleasure to meet the Maddens. Even though I treasure every birth story I’ve documented, telling a victory story like this one is even more rewarding.” Hunter and Hope are fantastic parents.

They are tremendously dedicated to Evelyn and to one another. They had worked hard to get her here, and they were apprehensive until she was in their arms.

These photos capture the relief and excitement so well. It’s great to hear Dad’s unedited and honest response.

We often forget that childbirth has an impact on more than just the mother and her kid. I enjoyed telling their tale because the entire birth was filled with touching moments.

I was able to see them again around a week after they were born in order to photograph them as babies and as a family. They were also doing well. I’ve also been following them on social media, and it’s been fun to see Evelyn grow up.
