To make matters worse, Aimee’s wound became infected with flesh-eating germs, putting her life at risk. Over the course of 11 surgeries and challenging rehabilitation, Aimee had to make the difficult decision to amputate both her hands and legs. It was a journey filled with courage and resilience.
