Last week, Ryan Fournier, a co-founder of the political organization Students for Trump, was arrested and charged with assault in North Carolina. According to court records, Fournier allegedly hit a woman with a gun during the incident.

Fournier was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female and assault with a deadly weapon on November 21st, as stated in the online court records from Johnston County. He was later released on a $2,500 bond.

The charging documents claim that Fournier grabbed the woman’s arm and struck her in the forehead with a firearm. The woman’s name has been redacted from the records. Interestingly, Fournier waived his right to assigned counsel in the case.

CNN has made several attempts to reach out to Fournier for comment, but there has been no response so far. A hearing has been scheduled for December 18th at the Johnston County Courthouse.

It is worth noting that Fournier is the chairman of Students for Trump, an organization he co-founded in 2015 when he was a freshman at Campbell University. Additionally, Fournier is involved with Radical Alert, which aims to expose what it calls “radicals” who have allegedly taken control of American college campuses.

This incident involving Fournier raises concerns about the behavior and actions of individuals in positions of influence within political organizations. Law enforcement and the legal system will determine the outcome of this case, and it serves as a reminder that everyone should be held accountable for their actions, regardless of their political affiliations.
