As he concluded his final performance with iconic hits like “Your Song” and “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” Elton John remarked, “How fortunate am I to be able to play music for 52 years? But I wouldn’t be sitting here talking to you if it weren’t for you, the fans.”

Elton John recognized the unwavering support of his fans throughout the years. He acknowledged their loyalty in buying his records, CDs, and concert tickets, emphasizing their understanding of his love for performing live. He conveyed his appreciation, stating, “My supporters have stood by me at every turn…They’ve supported me, they’ve been patient, and they’ve been coming to every single event.”

Expressing his heartfelt appreciation, Elton John spoke of the love and adoration he holds for his fans. Martin conveyed the admiration and love of all the bands and artists that Elton John has influenced. He affirmed, “You are very much loved by us…We wish you a happy retirement and will miss you terribly, dude.”
