Prince William made a solo appearance at the 2024 BAFTA Awards in London, as his wife, Princess Catherine, continues her recovery from planned abdominal surgery.

While speaking at the awards show, the Duke of Cambridge expressed his regret that Catherine couldn’t be there, saying, “I’m sorry Catherine’s not here. She does love the BAFTAs.” However, he also shared that they watch all the films together, stating, “All the ones I watch, she watches with me. So we go through it carefully.”

Despite his busy schedule and recent challenges, including his wife’s health and his father’s prostate cancer diagnosis, Prince William remains dedicated to fulfilling his royal duties.

Reflecting on the past year, he admitted that he has watched the fewest number of nominated films, but hopes to catch up soon. While he hasn’t watched “Barbie” yet, he did praise the film “Oppenheimer”.

At the BAFTAs, Prince William also shared a humorous moment with Ayo Edebiri while congratulating the nominees of the Rising Star award. The Prince’s appearance at the event was stylish, wearing a blue velvet blazer and a black bowtie.
