But Shaq’s generosity didn’t end there. The very next day, he took the family to a Mercedes-Benz store and surprised them with a brand-new 15-person van. As the Collins Kids had been outgrowing their 12-passenger van and faced unreliable air conditioning, this incredible gift from Shaq felt like a dream come true. The impact of this blessing was immeasurable, especially for Karissa, who is expecting another child. Although customization and delivery will take some time, the eagerly anticipated new van is scheduled to arrive in July!
Karissa’s husband, Mandrae Collins, manages a Mercedes-Benz store in Fort Worth and is a former player for the Harlem Globetrotters. Consequently, Shaq’s surprise had an even deeper significance for their family.

That night, when Shaq learned that their waitress’s car had broken down earlier in the day, he left her an astonishing $1,000 tip. There truly seems to be no limit to Shaq’s benevolence.
Moreover, Shaq didn’t neglect Mandrae. Sensing that his truck lacked both air conditioning and heat, Shaq took the family to a Ford store and graciously provided Mandrae with a brand-new truck!
