Fritz’s absence from the show was attributed to health issues, specifically back surgery. He assured his fans that once he recovered, he would be ready to return and continue entertaining them with his love for picking treasures. Despite his desire to come back, there were uncertainties about the show’s decision regarding his return.

Following his hospitalization, Fritz’s rehabilitation did not progress as anticipated. As a result, he was placed under guardianship and sent to a nursing home. An acquaintance was appointed as his guardian, and a bank took charge of managing his finances as his conservator.

The bank, acting as his conservator, handles his financial matters, ensuring that his care facility payments, transportation needs, and other daily expenses are taken care of.
His guardian has a crucial responsibility, including submitting an initial care plan, maintaining communication with family members, and making decisions on Fritz’s behalf until he is well enough to take control of his life again.

According to documents, Fritz’s condition has worsened, rendering him unable to make important decisions for himself. The court recognized the necessity of a guardian and conservator to protect his health and well-being, preventing immediate harm.
