At 56 years old, Kerstin Tristan is a mother and grandmother. But she has a unique hobby that may surprise you: she loves body modification art, particularly tattoos. In fact, she has dedicated herself to this art form to such an extent that her entire body is now covered in tattoos. To achieve this, she has invested a significant amount of money. However, it wasn’t always this way for Kerstin. She used to despise tattoos. So what caused this change of heart? It all started when she got her first tattoo in 2015, and everything shifted for her.

“I simply wanted to try something new. We only live once, and I believed that at my age, something real had to happen,” Kerstin shared.

Since 2015, Kerstin has spent approximately 30,000 euros (around US $32,000) on tattoo modifications alone. However, her decision has brought her not only attention but also love from others. With over 190,000 followers on Instagram and millions of views on TikTok, she is not afraid to flaunt her unique appearance. On her Instagram, she proudly displays pictures of her fully tattooed body. But it’s important to note that she didn’t always look this way. Just a decade ago, she was tattoo-free and looked completely different. Occasionally, she shares comparison photos, allowing people to see the incredible transformation.

Kerstin, who is based in Germany, has vibrant rose tattoos on her legs, a leopard print tattoo on her shoulders, and several detailed portraits on her arms. These tattoos are just a few among dozens on her entire body. When she gazes at herself in the mirror, she sees a beautiful meadow filled with flowers that one cannot help but love.

And she’s not the only one who appreciates her artwork. One fan described her as a “beautiful work of art,” while another exclaimed, “Wow, stunning photo!”
